Responsibilities

A poultry feed sales job involves promoting and selling animal feed products to poultry farmers, integrators, and distributors, with the goal of meeting sales targets and building customer relationships. Key responsibilities include identifying new customers, managing existing accounts, developing sales strategies, and providing technical support to customers.


Sales Target Achievement: Meeting or exceeding sales targets for poultry feed products within a designated territory.


Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including poultry farmers, integrators, and distributors.


Sales Strategy Development: Developing and implementing sales strategies to expand market share and promote brand visibility.


Market Analysis: Identifying and analysing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.


New Customer Acquisition: Identifying and contacting prospective customers to expand the customer base and distribution network.


Technical Support: Providing technical support and advice to customers on feed formulation, nutritional needs, and best practices.


Order Fulfilment: Ensuring timely and efficient order processing and delivery.


Reporting and Analysis: Monitoring sales performance, analysing data, and preparing reports for management.


Compliance: Ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Agriculture or related fields.

  • MBA in Agri-Business Management or related fields would be good to have but not essential.

  • 5 years of experience working in poultry feed company.

  • Fluency in English

  • Confident with operating computers and web applications.

  • Keen to learn on the job, and comfortable with committing to the company for an extended period of time.


PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong sales and communication skills, including the ability to build rapport with customers and close deals.

  • Understanding of poultry nutrition, feed formulation, and animal health.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors.

  • Ability to identify and resolve customer issues and provide effective solutions.

  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory to meet with customers and attend industry events.

Pay and Benefits

  • USD 1000-1500 per month (Tax-Free Savings in India)
