Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Budgeting: 

Developing and managing the factory's budget, forecasting financial performance, and aligning financial plans with overall business objectives.


Cost Accounting and Analysis: 

Tracking and analysing production costs, including raw materials, labour, and overhead, to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.


Inventory Management: 

Monitoring and controlling inventory levels, ensuring accurate inventory valuation, and minimizing waste and obsolescence.


Financial Reporting: 

Preparing and presenting financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, to management and stakeholders.


Compliance and Internal Controls: 

Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and implementing internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.


Performance Analysis: 

Analysing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing insights to support decision-making.


Capital Expenditure Management:

Evaluating and justifying capital investments, such as new equipment or technology, to ensure optimal allocation of resources.


Treasury Management: 

Managing cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships to ensure the factory has sufficient funds to operate.


Tax Planning and Compliance: 

Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, optimizing tax strategies, and managing tax liabilities.


Supporting Management: 

Providing financial guidance and support to plant managers and other stakeholders to facilitate effective decision-making and operational efficiency.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.

  • 5 years extensive experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and cost accounting.

  • Proficiency in financial software Tally.

  • Fluency in English

  • Confident with operating computers and web applications.

  • Keen to learn on the job, and comfortable with committing to the company for an extended period of time.

Pay and Benefits

  • USD 1000-1500 per month (Tax-Free Savings in India)

  • GHS 2500-3000 per month local salary
