Executive: Buying & Farm Extension

Responsibilities
Overall responsibility of purchase of Soybean, Maize, and other commodities as per company requirement
Planning and executing buying and farm extension activities.
Identifying geographies and villages for focusing farm extensionservices and farm gate buying
Coordinating farm agents/supervisors/ farmers for deployment offarm machinery
Ensuring collection of receivables as per agreed terms for servicesprovided.
Ensuring the safety of machinery and timely maintenance ofmachines
Coordination in season/offseason buying of grains from the targetgeographies
Liaising with village traders, transporters, and other stakeholders forsmooth operation
Minimum Requirements
Degree in Agriculture or related fields.
MBA in Agri-Business Management or related fields is preferred.
Hands on experience in working with farmers, growers, or poultry raisers at base level.
Fluency in English.
Confident with operating computers and web applications.
Comfortable with regular local travel.
Keen to learn on the job, and comfortable with commiting to the company for an extended period of time.
Pay and Benefits
USD 900-1200 per month (Tax-Free Savings in India)
GHS 2500-3000 per month local salary
